End of term BBQ!!
April 15, 2008 | Utsav Pardasani
So, in our tron tradition, as with every term, we shall end this one partying down!!!
The plan is - Monday Waterloo Park, 4:30 BBQ!
Everyone Be there! Bring frizbees and balls! Unwind from exams with your mechatronics town homies!
There's still plenty of daylight left in the day, and promises to be a good way to start off your post-exam "celebrations".

Olympic Trials
April 1, 2008 | Paul Niglas
As some of you probably already know, Oleg is swimming in Montreal this week at Canadian Olympic trials. He's been training hard all year and we should all give him our support.
Here is his schedule of events:
Wednesday: 100 Back (Seeded 7th)
Friday: 100 Free (Seeded 112th)
Saturday: 100 Fly (Seeded 34th)
Sunday: 50 Free (Seeded 29th), 200IM (Seeded 9th)
If you're interested in watching some fast swimming, CBC has coverage on these days:
Tuesday: 7:30-8:00pm
Wednesday: 7:30-8:00pm
Saturday: 2:00-5:30pm
A few other swimmers to keep an eye on:
Keith Beavers: A local guy from Kitchener and a Canadian record holder in the 200m Backstroke. He was at the Olympics in Greece and hopes to return this summer.
Brent Hayden: A swimmer from BC. He took the gold medal in the 100m freestyle last year at the world championships. Many consider this guy to be Canada's best hope for a medal in the pool this summer.
This meet is shaping up to be one of the fastest in Canadian history. I'm expecting quite a few Canadian records to fall.
If you're interested in how Oleg is doing, the results are going to be posted on swim Canada's website:
